Data Annotator

Responsibilities:

• Data Annotation: Annotate and label data according to project requirements, including text, images, audio, video, or other data types.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of annotations by following annotation guidelines and standards.

• Data Management: Organize and manage annotated data, maintain version control, and track progress.

• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and project managers to understand annotation requirements and provide feedback.

• Feedback Loop: Provide feedback on annotation guidelines and suggest improvements to enhance data quality.

• Documentation: Document annotation processes, guidelines, and best practices.

• Security and Privacy: Adhere to data security and privacy regulations, ensuring data protection and confidentiality.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proven experience as an Annotation Specialist or similar role.

• Attention to detail and strong data labeling skills.

• Familiarity with annotation tools and platforms (e.g., Label box, Prodigy, Amazon PageMaker Ground Truth).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
