Software Tester Fresher

1. Software Tester is responsible for testing of various software products developed by the Company.

2. Software Tester is responsible for developing the test plans, design planning, execution, and reporting of all activities required to verify software conformance to defined acceptance criteria.

3. This role requires the individual to work collaboratively with the Software Development Team, Project Manager, and Test Manager to ensure that delivered solutions align to system requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyzing the context of software systems and applying the appropriate testing types and levels (component, integration, system, and acceptance tests).

2. Investigating methods of increasing efficiency in testing, Creating test scenario, test cases, and verifying that adequate test coverage has been applied.

3. Planning, estimating, administering, and executing Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout the Software Development Life-cycle.

4. Preparing, reviewing and implementing High Level Project Test Strategy, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Application Test Plan, Release Test Plan and Test Scripts for software code.

Competencies:

1. Education University degree in BSC - Computer Science, BSC - Information Technology, Engineering, Certification in software testing and any technical background.

2. Key Attributes (experience, skills and technical knowledge)

3. Conduct functional testing for every component of the application.

4. Perform integration testing based on real-world business transaction scenarios.

5. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall model Execute system testing to ensure the end feature functions as expected.

6. Carry out ad-hoc testing, performance testing, and acceptance testing to cover various test aspects.

7. Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure they don’t introduce new issues elsewhere.

8. Perform usability testing to confirm the application is user- friendly.

9. Possess excellent knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

10. Have a solid understanding of the Defect Life Cycle. Identify bugs and classify them based on their severity and priority Able create test scenario and test cases .

11. API testing along with postman tool. Basic knowledge of benchmark testing, Server knowledge, Server knowledge, Technical knowledge.
